The recently published [2024 activity report](https://www.avocatparis.org/actualites/rapport-dactivite-2024-des-services-de-lordre-et-de-la-carpa) of the Ordre des Avocats de Paris and CARPA (Caisse Autonome des Règlements Pécuniaires des Avocats) provides a clear overview of the Bar's activities, what it does, and how it can help lawyers.

It also provides a detailed explanation of what CARPA is, its role within the French legal system, and how it contributes to French anti-money laundering legislation (LCB-FT) efforts. Pages 12 to 16 of the report offer a clear overview of CARPA's functions, the supervisory structure in place, and key AML/CFT obligations for lawyers.
