The [FATF Plenary meeting took place in Paris last week](https://www.fatf-gafi.org/en/publications/Fatfgeneral/outcomes-FATF-plenary-october-2025.html), where several key topics were discussed. Among the highlights: the [mutual evaluations of Belgium and Malaysia](https://www.fatf-gafi.org/en/publications/Fatfgeneral/FATF-Week-October-2025.html) are scheduled for publication in December, and the FATF announced plans to research how criminals are using generative AI and AI agents to facilitate financial crime.

In addition, [Burkina Faso, Mozambique, Nigeria, and South Africa have been removed from the grey list](https://www.fatf-gafi.org/en/publications/High-risk-and-other-monitored-jurisdictions/increased-monitoring-october-2025.html). No new countries were added, and no changes were made to the black list.
